Which Iowa employers offer IPERS?

Under Iowa Code chapter 97B, IPERS coverage is the default for nearly every public employer: state agencies, all 99 counties and their cities, every public school district, Area Education Agencies, community colleges, public universities, and county hospitals. (The main exception: full-time police and firefighters in larger civil-service cities are under MFPRSI, a separate system.)
